- Do not spray indoors – use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage.
- Remove loose paint with wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Clean with soap and water and let dry. Priming is not recommended.
- Use the Rust-Oleum® Specialty High Heat Spray in Bar-B-Que Black or the color of your choice. Apply in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Keep can same distance from surface and in motion while spraying.
- Apply two or more light coats a few minutes apart.
- Dries to the touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1-2 hours. May recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours.
